Rahamim Hanuka’s hope for a fresh beginning after his discharge from prison is lost when he finds out his father, a Sofer, bestowed upon him the responsibility of writing a Torah book for the Hamisha Family. Both the life of Rahamim and his father are under threat should he decide not to complete the task on time.
