The monotonous daily home routine becomes the subject of the director's personal journal: a patchwork of interviews with his mother and three neighbors. Each speaks a different language on the same street in Jerusalem. Memories of home, emigration and "foreignness" surface, all creating short phrases dealing with the universality of pain.
