A Film Unfinished collected two awards at the festival: the Van Leer Documentary award as well as the Forum for the Preservation of Audio-Visual Memory Award. Precious Life received honorable mention for the Van Leer Documentary Award, while Budrus received honorable mention for the Vivian Ostrovsky Award.

For the first time ever, Queen Nur of Jordan visited the Palestinian Authority for the premiere screening of Budrus in Ramalla.

This extraordinary debut film by Yael Hesonski received the Best Feature Film Award at Hot Docs film festival's international competition in Toronto. Earlier this year the film received also the Editing Award at the Sundance Film Festival, where it had its world premiere. It will go on to be screened at both the Jerusalem Film Festival, and the Melbourne International Film Festival.

The documentary feature by Julia Bacha won the Amnesty Italia award at Pesaro Film Festival. Earlier this year the film also won the Witness Award at the SilverDocs Festival, was awarded Honorable Mention by the Jury of Madrid's Documenta film festival, as well as the 2nd Audience Award at the Berlinale's Panorama, the Special Mention Jury Award in Tribeca and the Audience Award in San Francisco. It has been accepted to the Melbourne Film Festival, the EIDF in Korea, and the Jerusalem Film Festival.

This new documentary feature by Alexander Gentelev brings the stories of former heads of Russia’s criminal underworld. The film had its world premiere in Tribeca and participated at Hot Docs film festival in Toronto.

The film was received warmly in the Karlovy Vary festival and went on to win over audience in Sarajevo International and Kosovo. It has been selected to screen at the FIDMarseille in July.

The documentary film by Deepa Bhatia will participate in the Documenta festival in Madrid. The film won Special Mention and the FIPRESCI Award at the Mumbai International Film Festival in india earlier this year.
